1. Quit Smoking 2. Lose Weight 3. Manage Stress
These are the toughest behavioral changes to make the the ones that will give the most reward in good health.
After all, the first is a physical addiction to a very powerful drug foisted on individuals by expert marketing and peer behavior at an early age.
We can modify our eating behavior but we cannot quit.
If you want to master the first two, however, you must first deal with number three. Learn to manage the everyday stresses of life by using positive alternatives.
We all know that stress is both good and bad depending on how a person deals with it. It is part of life. The behaviors ” smoking, drug use, financial, alcohol abuse ” are negative responses to stress. I wont go into any mind numbing theory about why. Lets just say they are a complex jumble of conscious thoughts and subconscious mechanisms that lay beneath them. Those thoughts can be controlled by you and the behavior can be stopped or changed.
Stress management is really “response management”. Hypnosis explores the subconscious mechanisms under the surface thoughts. After learning them you can realign your thinking and learn more appropriate responses.
As a result of a hypnosis session, some clients discover talents and abilities they werent aware they had. Hypnosis utilizes the individuals strengths and resources to create the world they want to experience. Nowhere is this more important than changing harmful responses.

Am I giving control of my mind to someone else?
No you are not because you are the only one who can control your mind. Hypnosis will give you more control.
Will I give up my free will?
Hypnosis won’t take your strengths, free will, or personality away. It is a relaxed state in which suggestions are made that may provide a better response to make behavior changes. You don’t have to accept those suggestions.
Can anyone be hypnotized?
Anyone can be hypnotized in the hands of a skilled hypnotist or hypnotherapist. The only requirement is that you want to.
Is it dangerous?
There are many case studies testifying that hypnosis is no more dangerous than taking and aspirin. It is rather like daydreaming.
Do I sleep during hypnosis?
No. Hypnotized subjects are relaxed, yet fully aware and awake. You are free to emerge from hypnosis any time you want. Some people use hypnosis to relax into sleep and awake as they normally do (usually feeling more rested than without hypnosis).
Changing harmful behaviors is not easy. The world can be harsh and stressful. But you can change your responses to become calmer, more focused, and positive through hypnosis.
