Activities That Burn A Lot Of Calories

Jogging is one of the exercises that you may like. You should make sure this is as fun as it can be. You can incorporate some of your health conscious friends and do chat away while you jog. Normally it can be boring if you are the only runner in a 5 km radius. Go to a running track where you can meet other runners and do your thing.

Riding bicycles will work well on the part of burning calories and increasing your heart rate. Your weight and the speed with which you cycle will determine how much calories you burn off but it will be between 400 and 500 every half an hour.

Swimming is good for your heart, alongside every other part of your body. It will help you exercise and burn 800 calories an hour without putting too much strain on your joints. This is because water keeps them away from pressure.

The other easy to do weight loss exercise is walking briskly. This works best if it is strictly quick walking. Slow walks at small strides will not do you any justice. It will be much less than the 360 calories you can burn per hour walking fast.

It is not wise to assume that only exercise will help you loose weight. Feed on the right stuff and do not over rely on fast foods. Eat leaner meats and include vitamin rich vegetables in your daily diet.

This is not to say that you should avoid fats completely. Your body needs fat so do this by having olive oil. You should be taking water even while exercising and have your body well hydrated. These are important in your weight loss endeavor.
