When Doctor Oz appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, he had no inkling that he would be creating a furor in the health industry by featuring the uses of a tiny dark-purple colored grape like fruit named as acai berry. Not only has the health and medical fraternity been dazed by the benefits of the wonder berry, but even common citizens are getting more and more inquisitive about the acai berry.

A native of the Amazonian rainforests these berries are becoming fast sellers due to their high antioxidant content, in addition to vitamins, essential fatty acids and minerals. The acai juice has a mixed taste of chocolate and berries.

The acai boom has started and is not going to slow down in the future. Taking advantage of this fact, many new companies have started their production and processing units. The companies are appointing distributors, giving franchisee options and retailing their products through other means. Each tier is assured of earning a good amount as the craze for acai extract is yet to slow down. This trend is not just on hearsay.

People have exactly benefited from the acai berries and it is this experience that has made them stand in acai’s favor.
